The main goal of
the peer-review process is to
maintain a high level of the accepted articles for publication in Revista Română de
Biblioteconomie şi Ştiinţa Informării/ Romanian Review of Library and
Information Science. After an
analysis of the article’s scientific content, degree of originality and
novelty, a decision will be made upon the publishing of the article.
Articles, in Romanian and English, should be sent, only in electronic format via e-mail, as attached files. The article submitted for publication will be accompanied by a brief presentation of the author and keywords, also in Romanian and English. Within the peer-review process, for each article, are involved two scientific reviewers, with expertise within the subject matter of the article. The first phase
of the peer review process
takes about two weeks. Following this stage, authors will receive a
note with the
eventual comments. The author should modify the article’s content,
accordingly
to the reviewer’s requires and send it, within one week after the
communication
of the observations.
In the second phase of the peer review process, the articles are submitted to the editorial board, which accepts or rejects their publication. The editorial board decision is communicated to the authors no later than two weeks. |
